I'm going to be at TactiCon this saturday in Denver... mostly just hanging out with gaming buddies and shopping for cheap RPG books. Hopefully I can restrain myself and keep spending to a minimum (unlikely, if there are cool goodies to be had) and not end up with a 10th box of books to add to my ever growing pile.

So, because the house is being shown for sale right now, I have to scramble whenever a realtor calls and drop everything I'm working on. Fortunately, I finished all my freelance work with time to spare, but it's getting quite frustrating to hear the phone ring when I'm elbow deep in Photoshop or have ink all over my hands and face. Hopefully the darn house sells soon.

Wow, I didn't think my first month of freelance-ing would be this crazy. I have 3 different jobs due on practically the same day. I'll try to post some sketchy stuff from one or two of them (although I can't with the finished work, sorry) to keep up.

In other news: Comicon was awfully entertaining in the sort of way that I wish there were 100,000 less people there. It was insanely crowded and I was feeling pretty much like a bug on a windshield by the end of it. The rest of my trip was more relaxing--I got to visit the Scripps Aquarium in San Diego and the stops in Phoenix and Las Vegas were definitely worth it.

I'll be leaving on Wednesday for Comic Con, so I'll try to post something either tonight or tomorrow to keep up on my art. Although the two days of driving to get there are something I'm not entirely enthusiastic about, I'm sure I'll be happily lugging around tons of free stuff for the next few weeks.

Actually, that pretty much describes what will most likely be my state of mind for the next week. I love it when my optimism pays off.
