A design for a Lunar I'll be playing soon for our celebratory visit to Yu-Shan, using the new book. ^_^ Um... kind of went a tad overboard with the whole brush/gradient thing, but I like the way it looks overall.

I think towards the bottom your colors get a little muddy. I think you may have been going for a kind of faded-out look, I really like the face and top half though.

I dunno, I think you did a pretty even dose of brush and gradient. The texture doesn't stand out over the image and you barely notice any brushwork until you look closer at it. All in all it seems VERY complete and professional. The only real thing I'd suggest to change is the head a bit. it has the least ammount of texture/gradient so it seems a little untouched compared to the rest.


otherwise good work! At this rate I'm gonna be sweating bullets if I'm gonna compete with this stuff.
