Sometimes Life is Strange

Mon Jun 15, 2009, 8:46 PM
This last month has been very difficult in a number of ways... but I want to reassure you all that I'm still here--just a little behind in terms of personal work. I'm sorry, I'll try to get back on the wagon soon.

For Jeremy--I'll miss you terribly, your sense of humor always made me smile, no matter what was going on. You were a terrific teacher and an awesome friend.

For Bob--the light is always darkest before the dawn and I am always on your side. You've been the best friend and mentor a girl could ask for and I am 100% behind you, whatever you do.

In happier news, Olive is still going strong--we're going to hit the big 5-0 this next Monday. I'm intensely glad that I still love drawing my comic this much, it's very gratifying to work everyday doing something you adore. October seems much closer now, and I'm increasingly excited that I will get to see Olive in print someday soon.

That would be awesome to at least attempt, but you know totally impossible.

On the other hand... Sidereals are really complicated to make... >.<

Augh, Sidereals give me headaches.

I got about three pages into the book and was like "OMG, WHAT THE HAT, who would honestly play as one of these things."

Personally I prefer my shape changers, they seem way less complicated.

Some friends and I have decided the difficulty of creating characters from easiest to hardest goes as follows: Dragon-blooded, Solars, Abyssals, Lunars, Sidereals.

Err... Alchemicals may top out the list, there. Those things are a pain in the neck to make--but so fun to play!

I haven't even started to look at that one, I did glance at the infernal book and just shuddered. You have to get pretty into the game to spend more than three days on creating a character.
